Meshy Madness
Model preparation, material setup, optimisation and production LOD tooling for Unity 6.
Quick Start
For a typical Meshy model, the complete preparation process only needs a few decisions.
-
Choose the ZIP
Drag the downloaded ZIP into the drop zone or click Browse. The ZIP does not need to be inside your Unity project. -
Check preflight
Confirm that Meshy Madness has detected the model and expected texture maps. -
Check the asset name and destination
Use a clean production name and keepAssets/ZionMeshyMadnessunless you need another Assets subfolder. -
Choose the transform
For normal Meshy downloads, start with Meshy Centimetres. -
Choose placement options
Select the pivot mode, optional Y grounding and collider type. -
Choose material settings
Auto will use the active render pipeline. Choose texture resolution, compression and any advanced material options you need. -
Choose the output
Create a prepared prefab, one optimised prefab, or a four-level production LOD Group. -
Run and review
Click Import & Prepare Meshy ZIP, then inspect the generated prefab and comparison scene.
